Widener senior Erica Szpynda (Berwick, PA) and junior Mike Recla (Bloomsburg, PA) each took their turns in the spotlight by competing in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Lincoln, NE.

Widener saw its track and field season reach another high point as the squad learned four of its student-athletes are headed to this weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships in Lincoln, NE.

Another championship event meant another chance for Widener's track & field squads to shine as they competed at the ECAC Championships in Boston, MA.

Widener had a handful of competitors take part in the Tufts Last Chance Meet in Medford, MA.

The impeccable run of Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field championships for Widener reached five straight and the women closed in fifth place in Bethlehem, PA.

Widener sophomore Shakeira Fowler (Philadelphia, PA) and freshman Josh Colley (Tunkhannock, PA) have been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Track & Field Athletes of the Week.
