The Saint Vincent College men's cross country team narrowly lost to NCAA Division 1 University of Pittsburgh in the annual SVC Invitational. Pitt finished with a low score of 33, with the Bearcats a close second with 38.
DANBURY, Conn. (Sept. 17) - Junior men's cross country standout Sawyer Palonder was named Co-Runner of the Week by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).
GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 15) - After a busy weekend of competition, two Saint Vincent College student-athletes earned recognition for their performances this past weekend.
Sawyer Palonder captured first place overall, and the Bearcats had the top score in the Bethany College Invitational, which featured 16 schools and 156 runners.
The Saint Vincent men's cross country team started its 2014 season facing mostly NCAA Division I schools in the Duquesne Duals, held in Pittsburgh's Schenley Park.
