It was not the finish the Blue Streaks wanted, but the runner-up showing at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championships Saturday marks yet another remarkable achievement in a five-year span for John Carroll.

In a meet with over 1,000 competitors and over 100 teams, the John Carroll men's cross country team managed to make a splash with just five runners.

A runner-up finish from Elliot Thorkelson and a strong scoring pack behind him helped John Carroll earn second place at the 2015 All-Ohio Division III Men's Cross Country Championships Friday afternoon at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
